Upload files to a student’s profile

This article is intended for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs).

You can upload files to a student’s profile page, such as scanned images of safeguarding files and general information documents.

To upload files:

  1. Sign-in to Record Manager, then select Search on the left navigation.
  2. Find the student using Student Search. Search results will appear on the Active Students tab as you type.
  3. Select View on the student’s row.

  4. On the student’s profile page, open the Documents tab and select Upload File.
  5. On the Add File dialog, select Select Files.
  6. Locate the file(s) you want to upload in your computer or shared folder.

    Tip

    To upload multiple files at once, hold the Control key (Windows) or the Command key (macOS) on your keyboard while selecting the files.

  7. Select Upload.

    Note

    Uploading may take longer, depending on file size.

  8. The Upload Finished dialog box will appear on your screen once file uploading is completed. Select Close.

The uploaded files will appear on the Documents tab on the student’s page.

What is the limit on the file size we can upload?

You can upload files up to a maximum of 40MB.

What file types can I upload to Record Manager?
