Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) and Teachers can view record details by going to the Record Manager Portal. If they have the appropriate notification settings configured on the Notification Settings page, they can be notified by email each time a new Behaviour Incident is added to Record Manager.
It’s important to note that an unread Behaviour Incident means that the record is new and has not been actioned by anyone. Conversely, if you can’t find a Behaviour Incident, another DSL may have already read and closed it.
To view new Behaviour Incidents:
- Sign in to Record Manager.
- You can use the Search Bar on your Record Manager Dashboard for new records.
- Once you’ve found the record, select View Record.
- For earlier records, go to the student's profile page. By default, the Student Profile will show the Chronology tab.
- You can use the different tabs to filter down what kind of record you want to view (Chronology, Safeguarding Concerns, Behaviour Incidents, Referrals).
- You can also use the Search bar to look for specific keywords relating to a record.
- Select Details to expand the record to see further details.
Info
If multiple incidents are reported for the same student, selecting View Record for the relevant incident will take you to the Details for that incident on the Chronology section within the student’s profile page.
