This article is for all Record Manager users.
You can find active and archived (inactive) students using Student Search. If a student has an Open or Unread record, you can find them on the Dashboard.
Note
If you can’t see Student Search, please contact a DSL for access.
Use Student Search
Find active students
- Sign in to Record Manager, then select Search on the left navigation.
- Enter the student’s name in the Student Search bar. Search results will appear on the Active Students tab as you type.
- Select View on the student’s row.
Find archived students
An Archived Student is a student who is no longer enrolled at your school. It also includes students with temporary Unique Pupil Numbers (UPN) that have since been updated in your Management Information System (MIS).
To find an archived student profile:
- Sign in to Record Manager, then select Search on the left navigation.
- Select the Archived Students tab.
- Enter the student’s name in the Student Search field. Search results will appear as you type.
- Select View on the student’s row.
Find a student in the Dashboard
- Sign in to Record Manager > Dashboard. The Dashboard shows the Safeguarding Concerns tab by default.
- Enter the name of the student in the Search bar. Students' names will appear as you type.
- If the student's name doesn't appear on the Safeguarding Concerns tab, try selecting the other tabs (Behaviour Incidents, General Notes, Assigned to Me).
- Select the student's name in the Student Name column.
Tip
You can also use the Dashboard's filters such as Date Picker and Filters drop-down to narrow down your search. See Find a record.
