Upload Student List CSV to Record Manager

This article is for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs).


This guide describes the steps for manually importing student data into Record Manager if your school doesn’t use a Management Information System (MIS) or can’t sync data via Wonde.

Note

Upload Student List is available only to single-access users (users who can access a Record Manager instance for one school). This ensures validation and uploading of data to the correct organisation.

Before you begin

Download a copy of the Student List CSV template and prepare your Student List CSV

Upload student list

  1. Select the Admin icon on the top right, then Upload Student List.
  2. On the Upload Student List page, select Choose file and locate your Student List CSV file.
  3. Select Upload. The screen will show a preview of the data to be uploaded.
  4. Select Send.

Record Manager will import the student list into the system which can take up to 10 minutes, depending on the size of your data. You’ll see a notification when uploading is complete.
