I’m not receiving Record Manager email notifications

This article is for all Record Manager users.

If you’re not receiving Record Manager email notifications, your email application may have marked Record Manager emails as spam or your school’s content filter is blocking emails from Smoothwall.

Check your spam filter

The tools that protect users from unwanted messages sometimes block your Record Manager emails. To ensure Record Manager email notifications are not marked as junk or spam:

  1. Search for no-reply@safeguardsoftware.co.uk and no-reply@smoothwall.com in your Spam folder and mark these email addresses as:
  2. Add no-reply@safeguardsoftware.co.uk and no-reply@smoothwall.com to Safe Senders in Outlook or create a filter for them in Gmail.

Note

If you use another email provider, search their help documents for a solution.

Check your content filter

Some email alerts contain objectionable content blocked by content filtering. Have your school's IT support or filtering administrator whitelist emails from the following domains and exempt their content from any filtering: 

  • smoothwall.com
  • Smoothwall.cloud
  • safeguardsoftware.co.uk
