Using the In-app Notifications

When you select the Notifications icon (bell) from any Record Manager page, the Notification panel appears where you can:

  1. Mark all notifications as read.
  2. Select a notification to mark it as 'Read'.
  3. Pin a notification to the top.
  4. Read a DSL’s reply to the record you created.

Teachers and DSLs receive in-app notifications about a record they created when a DSL marks it as Read, sends a reply, or adds an update (see how to update Safeguarding Concerns and Behaviour Incidents). They also receive in-app notifications if reporters opt to notify them during the record creation process.
