This article is for all Record Manager users.
When you select the Notifications icon (bell) from any Record Manager page, the Notification panel appears where you can:
- Mark all notifications as read.
- Mark one notification as read.
- Pin a notification to the top.
- Read a DSL’s reply to the record you created.

Record Manager sends in-app notifications based on your role, when:
DSLs
- A new Behaviour Incident record is created . The reporter must have chosen to notify the DSL when creating the record.
- A new Safeguarding Concern is created.
- A record is marked as Read.
- A reply is recorded on a record.
- A record is updated.
Teachers
- A new Behaviour Incident record is created. The reporter must have chosen to notify teachers when creating the record.
- A record is marked as Read.
- A record is marked as Closed.
- A DSL has added a reply to the record. You can read the reply on the Notifications panel.
- A DSL has updated the record.
