Using the In-app Notifications

This article is for all Record Manager users.

When you select the Notifications icon (bell) from any Record Manager page, the Notification panel appears where you can:

  1. Mark all notifications as read.
  2. Mark one notification as read.
  3. Pin a notification to the top.
  4. Read a DSL’s reply to the record you created.

Record Manager sends in-app notifications based on your role, when:

DSLs

  • A new Behaviour Incident record is created . The reporter must have chosen to notify the DSL when creating the record.
  • A new Safeguarding Concern is created.
  • A record is marked as Read.
  • A reply is recorded on a record.
  • A record is updated.

Teachers

  • A new Behaviour Incident record is created. The reporter must have chosen to notify teachers when creating the record.
  • A record is marked as Read.
  • A record is marked as Closed.
  • A DSL has added a reply to the record. You can read the reply on the Notifications panel.
  • A DSL has updated the record.
