Optimized Unread Notifications retrieval

When a user open Record Manager, the system now initially loads only the count of unread notifications. The full notification list is only fetched when the they expand the Notification panel, leading to faster initial loading.

Faster Student Profile Page loading

We’ve streamlined the Student Profile Page to return only the necessary information in the background, resulting in faster page loading.

  • We’ve released the new Add Update feature for General Notes. 
  • We’ve improved the Add an update to General Note form to clearly indicate you’re updating a General Note.
  • We’ve made Record statuses consistent with the Legacy experience by using the New instead of ‘Unread’ status for all new or unactioned Records.

Improvements

  • Changed the record status from Unread to New.
  • Changed the Mark as Read button to Mark as Open.
  • The Notify Staff field now shows the names of notified staff when users view records from the Chronology. The Chronology doesn’t show the notified staff if the reporters choose not to notify staff members when they create records.
  • The Details field is now included in exported Reports. Find the Details column in exported reports.

Fixes

  • All users can now filter Student Search with tags.
  • Prevented the empty Verbally Informed a DSL field from showing on expanded General Notes on the Chronology.
  • The Dashboard now only shows:
    • Students who are still with the school, if records involve both transferred and non-transferred students.
    • Records only for Active students, if records include both Active and Archived students.
  • Fixed the issue with the Notification panel which didn’t show notifications for some users.
  • Removed the Edit button for Staff users who are viewing records from the Chronology.

  • Fixed an issue with redirecting Record Manager pages when users refresh their browsers.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Record Manager to open blank student profile pages when MAT users switch between sites.
  • Fixed an issue with locked Chronologies where non-overriding users could only see a persistent loading icon.  Now, a message appears for these users, explaining why they can’t view the page.
  • The Add a Tag dropdown in the Student Profile page now correctly displays all available tags.
  • Tagged students now appear correctly when users filter Student Search by tags.

  • Fixed a bug that blocked users from viewing in-app notification details.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented downloading of documents from the Student Profile page.   
  • Optimised query performance in the background for better responsiveness.

  • The new Expand all feature is now available. It shows the details of all records on the Chronology. To hide the expanded record details, select Collapse all.
  • Fixed an issue with the in-app Notifications that showed a blank screen for some users when selected.
  • Fixed a Reporting bug that prevented Reports from loading for some users.
  • Fixed an issue that caused duplication of notification emails.
  • Fixed an issue that caused student transfers to stall.  
  • Removed the REFEX tag. This tag has been retired in Record Manager 2.0.

  • Users can now create records for archived students.   
  • Applied custom tags now promptly appear and remain on student profiles.
  • 'Read' and 'Closed' records now display time stamps that adjust to Daylight Saving Time.
  • The SENS tag is now EHCP.
  • Multi-Site Access users can only choose schools from the Version 2 selector to facilitate smoother navigation between Version 1 and Version 2 sites.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented reporters from receiving replies.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented some users from receiving email notifications.

  • Migration Mode and Transfer Mode are added to student transfers.  
  • All student records are closed in the old school site before transferring to the new one.
  • Transfers displays the number of transferring students accurately.
  • Tags added to student profiles appear promptly.
  • Important Information items appear correctly on records with multiple students.

This update brings several improvements to enhance usability and data management.

  • DSLs can now add the Child Protection Plan tag to student profiles to indicate that a Child Protection Plan is in place.
  • The Behaviour Incidents tab remains visible on the DSL’s Dashboard even when it’s turned off for the Teacher’s Dashboard. Teachers can still report Behaviour Incidents from their Dashboard, based on software settings.
  • The MKD and REFEX filters have been removed from Student Search.

  • The Dashboard accurately counts both migrated and newly created records.
  • Student Search now shows profile photos to help Teachers and DSLs identify students more easily.
  • Student profile pages now correctly show Parent and Guardian contact details.
